EXPERIENCE

Teacher Intern | 8/16 – 5/17 | Camelback Academy

The school implemented a self-contained Special Education classroom for
the first time this year. Alongside another educator, my position required
me to teach and tutor the students during their time in the classroom.
Alongside the other teacher, we developed engaging lesson plans to
maximize social and academic growth.

Special Education Para-Professional | 8/17 – 12/18 | Company

Name
The self-contained classroom was not implemented this year, my position
shifted to a para-professional. I pushed into classrooms where special
education students were placed and allowed support for the classroom,
the teacher, and those specific students. I maintained work logs, I
updated IEP goal progresses, attended IEP meetings, and collaborated
with teachers to create a successful learning experience for our SPED
students.
Student Teacher| 1/18 – 5/18 | Company Name

In the final semester of my college career, I was in a student teaching

course. I completed these requirements at Verrado Elementary School. I
was placed in a first-grade classroom where I slowly took over the
classroom. My responsibility was to lesson plan alongside the team,
provide engaging instruction for the students.
