As a CSP or CRSP, you have the choice of two different ways If you want to know more about Chartered membership,

Option 1
If you want access to the benefits of IOSH membership Find out about our fees at
straight away, you can initially join as an Affiliate Member. www.iosh.co.uk/membershipfees.
Once we approve your application, you’ll be transferred to
Graduate membership. You can then use the letters ‘Grad
IOSH’ after your name. Next, we’ll invite you to complete an
open assessment. Once you’ve successfully completed the
assessment, you’ll become a Chartered Member. You’ll then
be able to use ‘CMIOSH’ after your name and describe
yourself as a ‘Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner’.

Option 2
If you’d prefer to complete the open assessment first, you
can register by mailing us at membership@iosh.co.uk.
Once you’ve successfully completed the assessment, we’ll
invite you to apply for membership. Again, you’ll join initially
as an Affiliate. Once we approve your application, we’ll grant
you Chartered status.

Whatever path you choose, you’ll need to send us a copy of


your CSP/CRSP designation document and proof that you’re
currently meeting your continuance of maintenance or
certification requirements.

You can use the same activities that you record for your
CSP/CRSP re-certification as evidence to contribute to your
IOSH CPD record, so you won’t need to do any extra work.
Simply register on the MyIOSH portal at https://my.iosh.co.uk
and keep your development up to date on our online system.
