 Knowledge in sustainable ecosystem management specifically on parks and
protected areas and forestry How they should be properly conserved and
treated to be optimally sustainable for future generations
 Aware of past and current environmental issues and events tied to resources,
sustainability and consumption locally and globally. For example, Alberta Tar
Sands and how 95% of Canada’s total oil, is reserved in these oil sands, smog in
Asia and how only 6 of the cities in Asia meet the Environmental Air Quality
standards and lastly how the Exxon Valdez oil Spill nearly polluted over 1300

well as their objectives to implement air quality improvements across the
country as all the provinces and territories will undertake and achieve these
standards.

higher asthma or forms of breathing problems have a sudden increase or water
quality decreases and civilians start getting sick.
