The drama is inspired and adpated from William Shakespeare’s KING LEAR
 UPREDICTABLE

Once upon a time, there live a wealthy family, consist of four people, one old
man and his three daughter, the oldman is not in healthy condition, since he has
property and company, he want to give his daughter ammount of property, but the
amount is not equally the same. He want to give such a huge ammount to one of his
three daughters, that is Delia, his younger daughter. To make it seems fair, he give them
a question asking about how much they love him.

Mr.B : ( clap his hand )

Sumi : Yes sir
Mr.B : Can you call my daughter to come here right now?
Sumi : Yes sir

In the living room

Sumi : What a nice view to see. I feel sorry to distrub your moment, but your father wants
to see you, and he is waiting in the mini bar.

All of them walk to the mini bar

Ariel : Hello dad, Sumi said that you calling us, is there something happen, ... oh i see
you want to challenge us to play dart, right?
Mr.B : Ok...cool let’s play, wanna bet on something. It’s been a while since we spend time
together . mmm how about the loser will pay for dinner?
Delia : Ok, I’m in

Playing dart for a while

Mr.B : Ok...ok I give up, you guys win. ( and sit and then talk in a serious manner )
Ok listen up girl ! I want to discuss something serious with you.
Regina : What do you mean daddy?
Mr.B : ( cough ) as you see... I’m not in a good condition anymore, and you are already
mature enough .
Regina : yeah... we know that. ( smile )
Mr.B : As you know, we have several companies. And this is the right time for you to
manage what we have today.
Regina : So you want to say that you want us to handle the company from now on?
Ariel : Shut up you little snake ( whisper in a low voice ) .

Suddenly the alarm ringing

Sumi : I’m sorry for distrubing you sir, this is the time for you to take your medicines.
Mr.B : (cough) Ok. Lets continue our discussion at tomorrow’s dinner. Ariel, Regina, and
Delia, you have to be able at 5 pm.
Regina : But daddy... I have to...
Mr.B : No excuse at all. It is an order!

After that, Mr.Broto go to his own room, but the three young ladies still suggest what
will happend.
Delia : I have a bad feeling about this.
Regina : Is our dad gonna death?
D&A : Can you just shut up, you little snake!!
Regina : Don’t you feel curious at all ? to be honest, i feel corious till death
Delia : Me too, let’s wait till tomorrow.

In the next day, they do their work as usual, Mr Broto goes to the company, Delia goes
to college, Ariel does her work as usual while Regina cancel her event to come to the
concert with her friends, they do their own work till the sunset come.
And the dinner time is coming.....
Sumi : Good evening sir..
Mr.B : Are my daughter at home?
Sumi : Yes sir, but Regina don’t take a bath yet
Mr.B : Ok, tell them that they have to be ready an hour from now and also make sure the
food is also ready.
Sumi : Yes sir.
An hour later
Delia : Hello daddy, how was your day?
Mr.B : Good. How about your college?
Delia : Great, as always!
Regina : Hi dad
Ariel : Good evening my daddy, did I missed something? Is it start yet?
Mr.B : (cough) No, take a sit.

While eating
Mr.B : Do you like the menu? I ask our maid to make this.
Ariel : Yeah I really like it, I thought you going to throw a party, there so much food today.
Mr.B : Enjoy your food.

Silent for a moment

Mr.B : Do you still remember about thing that we discuss yesterday?
Delia : Yeah dad, I really corious about that.
Mr. B : Ok. As I said before, I want to discuss about our companies future, I feel like I really
want to take some rest and let you handle our companies and the branch (cough).
Since we have so many company, each of you will get some company in different
city. But before i devide which one will get this or those company(cough) I want to
ask you a simple question. Your allocation will be equal with your answer, are you
ready?
Ariel : Ok dad, we are !
Mr.B : Here you go. You know that I absolutely love you. I’ve given everything you want.
Do you love me?
Ariel : Of course, I love you perfectly.
Mr.B : How much do you love me?
Ariel : Dad, I love you more than words can wield the matter; Dearer than eye-sight, space,
and liberty; Beyond what can be valued, rich or rare; No less than life, with grace,
health, beauty, honour; As much as child e'er loved, or father found; A love that
makes breath poor, and speech unable; Beyond all manner of so much I love you.
Mr.B : Wow... How about you Regina?
Regina : Dad, I am made Of the self-same mental that my sister is, And prize me at her worth.
In my true heart I find she names my very deed of love; Only she comes too short:
 that I profess Myself an enemy to all other joys, Which the most precious square of
sense possesses and find I am alone felicitate In your dear highness' love.
Mr.B : ( Satisfied with his daughter answer, waiting for Cordelia for her answer ) How
about you? My youngest daughter? How much do you love me?
Delia : ( Keep silent for awhile and the speak in a low voice) nothing my dad.
Mr.B : What do you mean by nothing my daughter? Don’t you love me?
Delia : No... I mean, I love you dad but I just think that one day I will be married with
someone else, how can I say that I love you when I married with someone else. That
case also happen to both of my sister, one day they will marry someone.
Mr.B : Oh.. ok.. let’s continue the dinner.

After a while, Sumi comes into the dining room to remind Mr.Broto for taking his
medicine. *Alarm is ringing*
Sumi : I’m sorry for distrubing you sir, but it times to drink your medicine and take a rest
sir.
Mr. B : Okay, so....... make sure all of you not sleeping late.

And... Delia also follows her daddy to take a rest.

Delia : Hem, so.. I’m going to sleep too. Maybe I have to go to my room now.
Regina : Okay.
Delia : Good night my sister
Regina : Good night too 

Mr. Broto forgot something and decided to get back to the dinning room
Mr. B : I forgot something... where is Delia?
Regina :She’s back at her room, dad
Mr. B : I see, just tell her that we continue our dicussion at tomorrow’s dinnner, okay?!
Regina : Okay, dad!

After Mr.Broto and Delia went to their own room, Ariel and Regina continue the
conversation . Not aware of Ariel and Regina, Sumi is overhearing their conversation
behind the wall.
Ariel : Hey, Don’t you think that Delia is really hypocrite?
Regina : Yeah, I think so.
Ariel : Yeahhhh..... she acts like an innocent-idiot girl, but it seems like she wants to take
them all.
Regina : Is she? She didn’t talk like that.
Ariel : OMG... don’t you see, she doesn’t love dad but she involved us along.
Regina : Oh... I see. How couldn’t I notice it before?
Ariel : Because of you are not smart -___-
Regina : Do you mean I am Stupid?
Ariel : Hem
Regina : No..no... I’m not totaly stupid (look at Delia’s phone). Ha.... I have a good idea to
revenge cordelia’s act.. We have to make cordelia looked bad in front of daddy.
Ariel : How?
Regina : Do you see that phone? We can text using Delia’s phone and pretend like she
doesn’t want to come to tommorow meeting with daddy.
Ariel : Wow, that’s good idea. We can pretend being Delia, and said that she doesn’t want
to come to our family meeting, because she has to attend farah’s party. It’s such
coherrency. Yesterday, I really see the invitation card in her table.
Regina : Okay..okay, so without for the due, let’s do this briliant mission, I will be Delia, and
you as Ariel hahahahaah.
*Chat using Delia’s phone*

In the next day Mr. Broto arrange a meeting to give his asset to one of his daughter
Mr.B : (Mr. Broto looked confused because only twi of his daughter come to the meeting)
Where is Delia?
Regina : Hmm..... Daddy, Delia said that she doesn’t want to attend the meeting because she
has an important appointment with her friend
Mr.B : Doesn’t she know that today is very important day?
Ariel : Daddy... Regina and I has already warn her about this, but she said that her
appointment is more important than you. Is that right Regins?
Regina : Oh... yeah we already do that.
Mr.B : How dare she is!! ( in an angry tone) she has no respect at all!
Regina : I agree dad
Mr. B : SHUT YOUR MOUTH! you make it worse. Why both of you don’t even care about
your sister?
Ariel : We do dad, but it seems like she doesn’t care . Look at this dad (showing their chat
room)
Mr.B : (Anger face and throwing the phone)

Someone knocked the door

Sumi : Good evening sir, You have a guest
Mr. B : Come in
Lwyr : Good afternoon sir (shaking hands)
Mr. B : (talking to his daughters) you two can leave this room for now
Mr. B : Sit down
Lwyr : Thankyou sir. How are you?
Mr. B : I’m good, as you can see.
Lwyr : Okay, can we start now?
Mr. B : So, I am going to change the content of my legacy. I am going to change Delia’s
name from that letter and change it to Regina and Ariel, both of them will get 50%
each.
Lwyr : But.... how about Delia sir?
Mr. B : She will get nothing.
Lwyr : Are you sure, sir?
Mr. B : My decision is absolute, and no one will be able to change it.
Lwyr : Okay sir, I will do anything that you want.

After finish everything, Mr. Broto call his assistant, Sumi.

Mr. B : Sumi.... can you call Regina and Ariel?
Sumi : Okay sir

After a while Ariel and Regina come to his room.

Lwyr : Can we start sir?
Mr. B : Yes
Lwyr : Okay, Regina, Ariel. I will read your father’s will about the legacy. Based on your
father’s condition which iis not really fit. He decided to share his asset to you. So,
both of you will get 50% for each.
A&R : (Shocked and Happy) Really? Thanks daddy...
Mr. B : But remember, both of you have to manage the asset that I gove to you as well as
possible.
Regina : We will dad, but how about Delia dad?
Mr. B : She will get nothing. This is the result of her bad act! She doesn’t respect me and
this is what she get!
Ariel : Umm... ok dad, we understand.

At 7 p.m Delia finally came home at night, then met his father inside.
Delia : Hey dad... I’m home
Mr. B : (keep silence)
Delia : Dad, have you had your dinner yet? I can make some, if you want
Mr. B : Don’t bother yourself, Delia (walk passed her without even looking in her eyes)
Delia : (mumbling) well, that’s weird... did something happen?

Apparently, Delia’s relationship didn’t go well since then. After a few

weeks of knowing nothing about what happens, she decided to talk about it
with her friend, Aluna, in her house.
Aluna : So, what do you want to talk about?
Delia : Umm...
Aluna : Let me guess, Is it about your family?
Delia : Well, it’s about my dad
Aluna : What happened?
Delia : I don’t know... he’s been acting weird.... i just....
Aluna : (interrupting) wait up! It’s your dad’s company, isn’t it?! On the TV?!
(they are watching the news on TV)
Aluna : Well, that is interesting! How many percent do you get? Treat me!
Delia : (shocked) I don’t know about the distribution!
Aluna : What are you talking about?! Can’t you see? Your sisters get their assets!
Delia : (thinking) uuummm.... i’d better go home now
Aluna : Why so hurry!
Delia : (preparing and leaving the house)
Aluna : (shouting) DON’T FORGET TO SHARE IT WITH ME!
Delia : Bye!

Delia arrives at her house

Delia : Sumi, where is dad?
Sumi : Good afternoon, Ms.Delia. Your father is in his work room. He aid that he doesn’t
want to be disturbed.
Delia : (groaning) hhhhhhhhhhhh......

Delia knocks her father’s room

Delia : Daddy.... It’s me Delia! Please, let me in! (opening the door)
Mr. B : (doing his work)
Delia : Dad, what’s going on?! Why am I the only one who knows NOTHING!
Mr. B : Know nothing about what?
Delia : I saw it on TV!
Mr. B : Owh.. About the company? That’s none of your bussiness!
Delia : But... I’m also your daughter! Why am I the only one who knows nothing about the
contribution?!
Mr. B : That’s your fault! Where were you? Why didn’t you come to the meeting?
Delia : Meeting?! What meeting?! When?!
Mr. B : The last month’s meeting! When you choose to come to your friend’s stupid party
over our family meeting!
Delia : (trying to explain)
Mr. B : (interrupting) just go away! I’m busy!
Delia : (going out in tears)
Sice that time, Delia ran away from home and stays at Aluna’s house and never coming
back home. Delia’s relationship with her father became worse. Meanwhile, Regina and
Ariel are at great advantage, they got his father’s assets, and succesfully got Delia out of
the house. Mr. Broto’s condition is also got worse.

At one day....
Mr. B : Ariel, Regina, can you just stay home today? (coughing) I’m not feeling good today
Ariel : I’m sorry, dad. I can’t. I have a huge-project meeting with my clients today. Regina,
can you?
Regina : Me? Can’t do that either. I also have a meeting
Mr. B : okay ~ ...... (coughing)... take care ~

Several months later, when Delia is watching TV, there is a bad news about the
company. It’s on it’s critical situation and going to be bankrupt.
Aluna : Is that your dad’s company?
Delia : Turn it up! Turn it up!
Aluna : Did you hear that?! It’s said that the company is managed badly!
Delia : (silence)
Aluna : They are so mean! How could they do that?! They are really the worst!
Delia : I don’t know. But it seems really serious. It involves all of my dad’s company. As
long as i remember, everything was just fine when i left home.
Aluna : I think that you have to do something.
Delia : What is it?! And how?!
Aluna : Look, you still don’t know about the meeting of the assets distribution, do you?
Delia : Yeah... Why?
Aluna : Start from there! When did it happen?
Delia : I think it was about several months ago.... In August! Yep! In August!
Aluna : So where have you been at the time?
Delia : I’m not sure. All I can remember that we came to Farah’s Party in August.
Aluna : That must be it!
Delia : But my dad was not supposed to be that angry to me!
Aluna : Did you bring your phone to the party?
Delia : I didn’t! I left it at home
Aluna : It could be your sisters ahcked your phone, then!
Delia : No way!
Aluna : It could be! Maybe they worked together to stab your back! So your dad had no
other option
Delia : Wait a minute! (checking her phone). Omg aluna, my sister are already hacked my
phone look this stupid conversation!
Aluna : How dare are they! Del, it is important, you have to go home right know, and tell the
truth to your father.
Delia : Yes, I have to do that. Okay luna, I will go home right now. Bye
Aluna : Hey!
Delia : What?
Aluna : Be careful, and do not being emotion. Take a breath.
Delia : Thankyou lun..

After that Delia went to see his father immediately. At the same time,
Ariel and Regina also went to see their father from work. Meanwhile, Mr. Broto and his
assistant are having a deep conversation in the house.
Sumi : Excuse me, sir. I need to tell you something.
Mr. B : What is it?
Sumi : About your company sir.
Mr. B : What do you mean? (cough)
Sumi : I know the truth about your company sir, The truth is... I believe that Ms. Regina and
Ms. Ariel worked together to get rid Ms. Delia to get your assests, sir. Do you
remember when Ms. Delia didn’t come to the meeting? It is because Ms. Regina and
Ms. Ariel didn’t tell her anything about it. So, Ms. Delia didn’t know anything at the
time.
Mr. B : I hope you’re not lying about this! What about their chat?!
Sumi : I have no idea, sir. But i’m sure the chat is fake. I saw them playing with Ms. Delia’s
phone after the dinner, and it could be the time they made it.
Mr. B : (silence) Why didn’t you tell me from the beginning? I’d written the testament by
her name. I changed it because I thought it was real.
Sumi : My appologies, sir. I felt that I’m not supposed to interfere your bussiness. And I
never thought that it ciuld come this bad.

In the middle of the conversation, Delia finally came

Mr. B : You’ve finally came...
Delia : What do you mean, dad?
Mr. B : Explain it, Sumi!

Sumi explains everything to Delia

Delia : (shocked) OH MY GOD!!! My feeling was right! I’m innocent all this time!
Sumi : I’m so sorry, Ms. Delia. I revealed it just now. It’s becauce I don’t have any
evidence, and I had no courage to tell it.
Mr. B : To be honest, i had written the testament by your name, not by your sisters. But,
because of that thing, I changed your name.
Delia : Dad, I’m so sorry too for not attending the meeting. I had no intend to ignore you,
but it’s just because i didn’t know about it.

Ariel and Regina come in the midst of conversation

Ariel : Dad... what happened? Why is everyone here? Dad, I’m sorry. I have no intend to
make the company bankrupt. I really do my best, but everything goes out of my
expectation.
Mr. B : Stop it! I don’t need your excuse!
Regina : Dad, we are really sorry. But why is the lawyer here? Are you going to hand over the
company to Delia?
Delia : I come here to take over the company. Not because of the money, but at least I can
manage it better than you so it won’t be bankrupt.
Regina : Are you kidding me?! You didn’t even come to the meeting! Because you prefered
to go out with your friend!
Delia : You didn’t even tell me! Stop playing stupid! I go there because I don’t know about
the meeting and no one told me about that!
Regina : We do!
Delia : No you don’t! You already hacked my phone!
Regina : Hacked your phone? DO NOT SLENDER ME! don’t make up something!
Delia : Really? So, what is this?! (showing off her phone)
Regina : (Speechless)
Mr. B : (interrupting) STOP IT! Ms. Lawyer, have you prepare the testament?
Lwyr : Yes, sir. Please, sign here (giving it to Delia first)
Delia : (signing) Your turn, Dad (giving it to her dad).

Apparently Mr. Broto fell asleep

Delia : Dad, why are you sleeping?! Dad... Wake up!!! (shaking his body)
Regina : Dad, wake up! Don’t be joking! (shaking his body)
Ariel : Sumi, what is happening!?
Sumi : I don’t know, Ms. Ariel. He was fine just now!

Everyone got panic and tried to wake Mr. Broto. But suddenly....
(the curtain goes off. Back to the first scene)
