Re: Computer Science/ Technology program

The memo will give for student information about the program called Computer Science for All
National Science Foundation. The program aims to provide all U.S. students the opportunity to
participate in computer science (CS) and computational thinking (CT) education in their school at the
preK-12 levels. With this solicitation, the National Science Foundation (NSF) focuses on researcher-
practitioner partnerships (RPPs) that foster the research and development needed to bring CS and CT to
all schools. Specifically, this solicitation aims to provide high school teacher with the preparation,
professional development (PD) and ongoing support that they need to teach rigorous computer courses;
preK-8 teachers with the instructional materials and preparation they need to integrate CS and CT into
their teaching; and schools and districts the resources needed to define and evaluate multi-grade
pathways in CS and CT.

 The service that program provided is help all young ages from preK – 12 able adapt with new
technology. High school teacher with the preparation, professional development (PD) and
ongoing support that they need to teach rigorous computer courses; preK-8 teachers with the
instructional materials and preparation they need to integrate CS and CT into their teaching. The
problems that program provide will solve the problem make people have difference way to look
at technology right now. They can feel that technology is not hard to learn and they are able to
pass concept to another and help them out.

 The opportunity category discretionary that science and technology and other research and
development must understand all information technology comprehensive. In the program
require teacher who have PD and CT know all materials and information.

 The program does not specify for the specific range what is the maximum and minimum level
that the kid should be learn in computer materials but I think they can start from preK – 12 is the
good range that help people development what should kid do and easier.

 The program does not specify any specific organization of information.

 The program does not specify any specific format for the proposal to educate young age adapt
with technology.

 The program does not specify any specific criteria by which proposal will be evaluated in the
preK – 12 but they are require very basic education for teacher and who want to teach young
age student should have PD, CT and know at least all general information technology that help
them able to pass the knowledge correctly to young age and help them grow quicker.
