UMEB S.A. plays an important part in the market of low voltage electric machines. The
export represents more than 70% of the yearly turnover. UMEB S.A. products are
adjusted to work in local climatic conditions characteristic for every country where they

PRODUCTION
The company constantly strived
for the increasing of the
electrical machines and this
aim could be achieved only by
modernizing of the production

production lines were in due
time replaced by other up-to-
date and of high productivity
ones.
ALTERNATIVE CURRENT MOTORS
Key deliverables
 Motors of general use: general industrial
drives (pumps, cooling fans, compressors )
 Explosion proof motors: industrial drives in
potentially explosive environments in
chemical and petrochemical industry
 Motor for hoisting unit drive: hoisting units
drive, both in the industrial shops and in the
open air, under conditions of high mechanical
and electrical stress.
 Other induction motors: for driving the
submersible pumps that are installed inside
the deep wells (up to the150m) for pumping
pure water.

intended for trolley-bus drive.

SYNCHRONOUS GENERATORS

Key deliverables

Synchronous generators are mostly used as parts of

the generating sets.
UMEB SA manufactures three-phase synchronous
generators in the power range between 20 kVA –
400 kVA, with the voltage of 400 V and speed of
1500 rpm (on request they can also be
manufactured for other voltage, for example: 500V).
GESIN generators are manufactured in single bearing
construction type (in particular cases they can also
be manufactured in double bearing construction
type) with the couple system SAE (for single bearing
type).
GENERATING SETS
Key deliverables
The generating sets represent an alternative
source of electrical power for the places where the
connection to the power supply is either difficult to
be performed or too expensive (Manual Generating
Sets).
The generating sets have the capacity to replace
the power network in case that this one does not
work between the operational factors (Automatic
Generating Sets – Emergency Gensets).
