Purpose: Before pursuing a career in education you must first research the many institutions
offering education courses you are interested in pursuing.

Paper Format
1. Single-space a modified MLA HEADING in the upper left-hand corner.

2. TITLE- Center your title, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS.

3. For this assignment you are to compile the following information for TWO colleges or
universities. Use a ​SUBTITLE​ when beginning a new section.

For each college or university include the following​:


1. GENERAL INFORMATION:​ Name, Location, Size and web address of University/College

2. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM:​ Name of educational program researching (Examples:


Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Secondary Music Education, etc.)

3. SAMPLE COURSES:​ At least FOUR sample courses offered in this program along with a
description of these courses (This will more than likely be found by searching the college
website for their “COURSE CATALOG.” If you are unable to find this information at the
website for that school and do not have a paper copy of a course catalog, please research
an educational program at another school and give sample courses along with descriptions
in their curriculum)
