For Land Planning and Engineering Services for Site Plan Approval through TRC Only
Related to the 20 unit condomenium building development on lot “A” and associated storm drainage on
Lot “B”. The base scope of work does not include any detailed design and preparation of applications for
construction related permits through but not limited to NCDCM, NCDWQ, or NCDENR. Any work
outside of the local Elizabeth City TRC site plan approval process will be considered outside of the base
contract and can be negotiated at the appropriate time if and when the owner wishes to do so.

SCOPE OF BASIC SERVICES:

Part One

1. Prepare Site Plan and gain approval through ECity TRC.


1.1 Visit site to gather information and take digital photos and get familiar with project area.
1.2 Prepare site plan submittal for review by the ECity TRC using building footprint and basic layout
provided by the architect and actual field survey information provided by surveyor.
1.3 Submit site plan package to Ecity and attend any meetings and make any required revisions to the
plan to gain TRC approval.

OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Owner will appoint a representative through which all communications with the Site Consultant will take
place. The Site Consultant will be allowed access to the site. The Owner will be responsible for payment of
any and all application fees. The Owner will keep the Site Consultant apprised of all relevant information
which could affect the work. The Owner shall provide the Site Consultant with a recent boundary survey of
the property.

COMPENSATION:

Compensation for Base Services as outlined in the above Scope of Work will be provided for the stipulated
sums listed below plus normal reimbursable expenses (mileage, printing, copying, postage, long distance
phone calls, etc.). Compensation will be broken down according to the following schedule:

Additional Services: Hourly according to the Following Schedule or Negotiated for a Stipulated Sum if
Required and Only with Written Permission by the Owner.

Design Technician........................................................................................ $ 50.00/hour

Field Inspector.............................................................................................. $ 35.00/hour
Secretarial..................................................................................................... $ 25.00/hour

BILLING AND PAYMENT:

The Consultant shall bill the Owner monthly for the percentage of work completed since the previous billing
period plus normal reimbursable expenses (printing, copying, mileage, postage, etc.). Payment shall be due
within 30 days from the date of the Owner's receipt of that invoice. Past due invoices shall accrue interest
penalties of 1.5% per month
