UGC NET Exam Changes 2018 - Exam on 8th July 2018

(January 22, 2018)

UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Exam conducted on 8th July 2018. As per the revised scheme, test will conducts two
papers. Upper age limit for appearing in JRF raised by two years (28 years to 30 years). Candidates who desire to appear in the test may see the detail on cbsenet. nic.

UGC NET Exam Changes 2018

Below details of exam are not decided. It will be notifies on 1st February 2018.

Exam mode: Online/Paper based

Exam conducted in year: Once/Two times

Paper-I:

Consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions.

Each carrying 2 marks.

Primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinkimg and general awareness of the candidates.

Paper – II:

Consist of 100 objective type questions.

Each questions carrying 2 marks.

It will be based on subject selected by candidates.

NOTE:

Weightage of paper 1 has increased since previously it was 100 marks from 350 marks and now it is 100 marks from 350 marks.

Make sure you give ample weightage to paper 1

Also, time has reduced to only 3 hours for the whole paper from 5 hours previously.

So speed is a key now.
