3. What do you want to improve on?
4. How do you make SMART goals?
5. What is the FITT principle?
Unit Summary:
In this unit we will be focusing on making goals and creating a one-month fitness plan. We will start the unit with a lecture about SMART goals, the FITT principle, and the
five components of fitness. Each student will choose one type of fitness to focus on and create their fitness plan around to achieve goals. For the Webercise students will need
to explore the websites provided to find different exercises and physical activities to do that would help them reach their goals. At the end of the Webercise students will need
to find their personal measurements for 4 out of the 5 components of fitness. Students will create a graphic organizer on coggle that will help them list different exercises and
activities that will help them reach their fitness goals. After students create the one-month fitness plan they will implement it into their own life and keep a journal about
how they felt about the workout and if they think it was affective. At the end of the one month students will create a presentation to show the fitness plan and their results to
the class.
