The Way of Life

Ethics the branch of knowledge that deals with moral principles. Justice is the rights for
others when it comes to behavior ot treatment of others. Ethics and Justice are related because
they have to deal with life lessons .

In life there specific rules you have to live by. That's just hmun whether it is at the house
or worship , school, work,any and everywhere has rules . I've had the opportunity to create my
10 rules to live by . Do No Harm , Love others as yourself , Look out for other even if they're not
looking out for you , Be thoughtful in your doings , Don't strike other if they strike you , Be the
best you can possibly be as a person , Strive for greatness to be better for the community ,
Always be honest with others for the sake of their good , Follow faither the best possible way
you can for your relationship , spread positivity onto others.

Do no harm is self exclamatory . Do no harm to others means not doing anything evil towards
others. This rules would go under the natural duties because this universal which means its
required for every single person to do action on by one another(Sandal 3).

Look out for others even if they’re not looking out for you. This comes under the natural duties .
Everyone in this world has problems and not everyone can contain themselves with all the
stress and anger so when I say looking out meaning like looking out for their safety and health
seeing if they're ok mentally and physically.

Love others as yourself. This rule mainly comes from the bible but sticks out the most . This
rule is a natural duty . Your loving your enemy as if they are in your shoes. This also shows the
Duty Framework stating “encourages treating everyone with equal dignity and respect”. ( Brown
University 20)

Be thoughtful in your own doings. This is depended on how your own very actions are going to
affect others. This rule would be consequentialist because “ in situations involving many people
, some whom may benefit from the action while others may not “ .( Brown University 6)

Don’t strike others if they strike you. This means don’t do evil back to others who have done evil
to you. Duty Framework and Natural Duty because duty would be “what we owe to each other “ (
Brown University ) , and “ we owe them to persons as rational beings” (Sandel 3)

Be the best you could possibly be as a person meaning be the best you can be so that
happiness reflects on others . This shows the virtue framework “ as it believes that all of one's
experiences , emotions , and thoughts can influence the development of one's character “ . (
Brown University 38 )

Strive for greatness to better the community the meaning is rule is just about making the
community for everyone and making the world it's better little by little . This goes under
narrative conception because its “ special responsibilities we have to one another as fellow
citizens” ( Sandel 21)

Always be honest with others for the sake of their good . Telling the truth no matter how tough
the situation is This shows natural duties meaning “ dutty to treat persons with respect to do
justice , to avoid cruelty and so on “ . ( Sandel 4)

Follow faith the best possible way you can for your relationship meaning be loyal and do
everything right for your partner. This is Obligation of solidarity “involve moral responsibilities
we owe , not to rational; beings , but to those with whom we share a certain history. “ (Sandel
34)

Spread Positivity on to others meaning love and show care for others. This would be a natural
duty meaning “ duty to treat persons with respect to do justice , to avoid cruelty and so on “ . (
Sandel 4).

I developed this list by thinking about my life and how I could relate . I also thought my
faith and how I would relate that to all of the frameworks . If I could make any revisions it would
be my fourth rule , sixth , seventh , nineteenth and tenth. The reason being is because they make
sense but it could be much better and more powerful for my readers.

In conclusion , I think my life would be much more positive and more simpler because
I’m not living life the most positive way I can and should. If everyone lived by these rules the
world would be better place if there would not be situations such police brutality , rape ,
bombings , shottings , etc. The world would be more peaceful and loving place.
