LESSON 1

(CONSOLIDATION)

How to change our destination?

Or Paano magkaroon ng isang magandang “kinabukasan?”

• Bible: John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
an everlasting life.”
• Ano-ano ang patunay na nais ng Diyos na tayo magkaroon ng
magandang kinabukasan?
1) God loves us.
2) We are included in God’s eternal plan.
3) God’s ultimate desire is for us to experience eternal life.
• Ecclesiastes 3:11 “God has placed eternity in the hearts of men.”
FOUR IMPORTANT THINGS
TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE?
1. We have a “destination.” The Bible tells us that there are “only” two
destination (option) we have to take: 1) To be with God forever , or 2) to be
separated from God forever.
Question: Saan kaya ako patungo?
2. We have sinned. Sin “separated” us from God and our eternal destination.
Sin “hurts” us, our destiny, our future, etc. Bible tells us in Rom. 3:23 that all
have sinned and in Rom. 6:23 the wages of sin is death. What is the
solution?
3. Jesus is the solution (the savior). Acts 4:12 no other savior (solution) but
Jesus.
4. We have to believe. Ephesians 2:8 “For it is by grace that we have been
saved, through faith-this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by
works, so that no one can boast.”
PERSONAL APPLICATION

• Gusto mo bang matanggap ang magandang kinabukasang plano

ng Diyos sa buhay mo?

• Process: 1) Surrender our lives to God, 2) Confess that Jesus is Lord of

our lives, repent from our sins and commit to return to God, and 3)
Receive Jesus in our hearts as our “only” Lord and Savior.

• Prayer of Salvation
LESSON 2
(CONSOLIDATION)
The Importance of Second Chance
(Repentance)

Bible: John 14:6 “Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one
comes to the Father except through me.”
1) God is a God of second chances.
2) Jesus is our second chance to God.
3) To receive a second chance change of direction is a must.

4) Question: Kailangan mo ba ng second chance in life, in God,

relationships, career,
etc.?
HOW TO HAVE A SECOND CHANCE?

1. Start in Jesus (because he is the way).

 Acts 3:19 “Repent, then, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out,
that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”
 Repentance is (1) turning away from sins and (2) turning back to God. A step
in a wrong direction is a step away from God. Therefore, start in Jesus.

2. Stop lying and begin telling the truth.

 Second chance can only take place when everyone is telling the truth.
 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just and will forgive
our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
HOW TO HAVE A SECOND CHANCE?

3. Value your new life.

 Second chance is a new beginning, a new life, and a new direction.
 Repentance gives us a new life.
 John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I (Jesus) have
come in order that you may have life-life in its fullness.”

PERSONAL APPLICATION

1) Do you feel that you are in need of a second chance in your relationship
with God?
2) Are you willing to start a new relationship with Jesus?
3) Do you need prayer ?
LESSON 3
(CONSOLIDATION)

How to change our heart?

(Change Heart)

Bible: Ezekiel 36:26 “And I (God) will give you a new heart, and I (God)
will put a new spirit in you. I (God) will take out your stony heart, stubborn
heart and give a tender, responsive heart.”
 We cannot change our heart.
 Only God can change our heart.
 God is changing our heart by 1) giving us a new heart and a new spirit
and 2) by removing the old, stony, stubborn heart.

 Question: How is your heart Now?

HOW GOD IS CHANGING OUR HEART?
1. By Loving and forgiving.
 Rejection, betrayal, failures, accusations, etc. created us a stubborn,
stony, and rebellious heart.
 Allow the love of God that surpasses all understanding touch and heal
our heart.
2. By forgiving others.
 Luke 7:47 “Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are
forgiven, for she loved (forgive) much. But to whom little is forgiven, the
same loves little.”
 Romans 12:19…the first step to forgiveness is to commit not to take
justice into our own hands.
3. By forgiving ourselves.
 To forgive yourself is to start seeing yourself the way God sees you.
 Forgiving brings healing, change of heart, and peace of mind.
PERSONAL APPLICATION

• Are there pains in your heart that were caused by people or yourself
you are carrying right now?

• Do you desire to be free, heal, and release from those pains?

• Therefore, allow God’s loving Spirit to touch your heart by forgiving
those people who have hurt you and by accepting yourself the way
God has accepted you.
LESSON 4
(CONSOLIDATION)

Growing your Relationship with God

(Lordship)

Bible: Colossians 2:6-7 “And now, just as you accepted Christ

Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow Him. Let your roots
grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your
faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will
overflow with thankfulness.”

 Do you know our most important relationship?

 Note: Our most important relationship is our relationship with
God.
HOW TO GROW OUR RELATIONSHIP
WITH CHRIST AS OUR LORD?
1. Make Him one and only number in your life. Romans 10:9 “If you confess
with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised
Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

2. Live a life of obedience. Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me,
Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of
my Father in heaven.”

3. Be faithful in your relationship with God. Psalm 18:25 “To the faithful God
shows himself faithful.” Proverbs 28:28 “Many are the blessings of a faithful
man…”

4. Be grateful. Psalm 86:12 “I will give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my
whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.”
• Lordship is “all of Christ and none of me.”
• Lordship is serving. Serving God is never boring; it is full of fun and
surprises. The greatest decision you have made in your life is the
time you spent in surrender and submission in the Lordship of
Christ.

PERSONAL APPLICATION

the lordship of Christ?
 What steps or actions will you take to make Christ as number in
your life?

Apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals and
to prayer.”

 Question: Paano ba maging isang totoong Maka-Dios at taga-
sunod ni Kristo?

instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank
Him for all He has done (NLT).”
2. LIFE GROUP FAMILY-Sharing. Life group is your spiritual family where
you can receive encouragement, acceptance, love, and grow
(Heb. 10:25).
3. CONNECT TO CHURCH-Fellowship. Church is not a building, it is
composed of people that believes, advances the agenda of God
and loves Him.
4. EQUIPPING PROCESS-Teaching & training. Ephesians 4:11-15
PERSONAL APPLICATION

• Would you be willing to be part of a life group, establish a lifestyle of

prayer, fellowship, and equipping process?

• Would you be willing to join the encounter with God retreat next
schedule?

• Would you pray with me and thank God for bringing change in our
