oxygen to the cells and carries carbon dioxide to the lungs for excretion. The best way to
increase hemoglobin levels is to increase the amounts of fresh fruits, vegetables and lean
protein in your diet. Also include foods rich in iron such as lean red meats, dark,
leafy green vegetables, beans and poultry.
