MOTIVATION LETTER

Hello.

By means of this motivation letter, I am pleased to write this in order to apply for a position in SCOPE
exchange Progam.Well, I would like to introduce my name first. My name is Febri Anriyani. I was born in
Jakarta, 3rd of February, 1997. I am a 3rd year medical student of Andalas University, Padang, West Sumatera.

As a medical student, I plan to build an international career in the field of medicine in the European Union,
so this programme will really mean a lot for my professional aspirations. Capability to handle problems,
social balance and the necessity to gain an international experience outside my University make me a
proper candidate for this position.

I want to participate in an international exchange for various reasons. This is a unique opportunity for me to
live in another country and immerse myself in a different culture and language. I am particularly interested
in travelling to Turkey because of the richness of its culture and for its reputation for welcoming
international visitors. Their unique history and location of Turkey are of great interest to me. Similar to
Indonesian society, Turkey’s population is very heterogeneous. Istanbul will also be a great place to observe
the medical education,facility, and it prodecure.

The opportunity to gain international experience in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Istanbul,
makes me excited. I think studying, living and having a good time with other international students will
broaden my horizon and enable to build friendships with other students from all over the world. Studying
abroad at Turkey seems like the perfect opportunity to meet a completely different culture, learn another
language, experience other educational system and enrich my curriculum vitae, as well as gain more
independence.

Personally, I am a person with a high perseverance level, someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and
ambitious. I am open-minded and interested in other cultures. I'm a quick learner, committed, I have an
ability to work independently and take initiative. I can work in a team, and I'm focused on reaching my
goals.

I am confident. I would prove to be an enthusiastic and hard working student. Therefore I would be very
proud and happy if I were allowed to enroll for the Exchange Program at your prestigious University, so that
I could empowering myself, and improving nation’s health.
