Online Activity The teacher will assign a reading for her students to complete
before beginning this activity. The reading will teach her
students the learning objective to the assignment (which is
listed above).

Students will already have a login for

For this lesson the teacher will be chatting with students about
cells. She will show pictures online when the class meets and
describe the different functions of cells. The teacher will go
over definitions pertaining to cells and what each word means.
After the teacher and student discussion, students will
complete a stimulation activity online. Instructions are:
1. Go to www.explorelearning.com
2. Click student class enrollment on the right side and put
in code 5GDQTJMB5V and click enroll
3. Then students will login to their explore learning
account
4. The activity is titled “Cell Types” and students will click
the box to complete activity
5. Students will click different areas on the picture and this
will show objects to investigate
6. Students will then click the microscope tab and be able
to see the inside of the object
7. Students will then click Test for Life tab and follow those
directions
8. Students will be exploring different objects and their
cells and seeing if they’re living or not

After they complete the stimulation, students will complete

the multiple-choice assessment. This will allow students to

know if they understand the components being taught. The
teacher will be able to see students screen to see if they are
 completing the simulation correctly and if they’re getting the
assessment questions correct.
