Piedad: What is the mobile bar in the major partners for the Engg Powercard?
Maandal: Better to ask Alti.
Piedad: I think it’s the same line as the vape shop.
Mendoza: I think it’s like Tipsy Box. But we already got Walrus and it’s the same thing and it’s okay.

Carubio: Does ESC have a discount for power card?

Mendoza: Maybe. Tell your friends since this is not only for engg students.

Mendoza: is your budget report to be passed for CAPES ready?

Maandal: I will get to it.

EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

Mendoza: UP PsychSoc sent a partnership for the Mental Health Week on October 3-8. This is a
university wide event. Major sponsorship is 6 people to pledge to attend the workshops and 4 people
for minor sponsorship.
Asiddao: Someone in CS asked why the questions for the Engg Freshie Reps candidates are like that?
Rodriguez: I admit my mistake. Some topics are still too pressing for freshies who are new in the
university and in the college. Noted. Taken into account.

LOCAL OPERATIONS

Mendoza: Request the maintenance to repaint the portion of the wall near the PBB.
Mendoza: What fin cabinet did you buy?
Palma: Just like the one in the picture I sent.
Centina: Like orocan?
Palma: Gelo approved of it.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Centina: How do you plan on tapping the 14 people who always fail the pub shares?
Fernandez: They are always the same people.
Centina: Maybe you can ask them why first. And probably you can handle tapping these people.

Mendoza: What about the polo shirts?
Malferrari: Karla is the one who manages the polo shirt.
Mendoza: Will it make it before OWeek? Since that is our first major event and we should be wearing
our polo shirts by then.

STUDENT AFFAIRS

Pasciolco: When will you release the new branding of enggvar?

Leon: Before DilGames on second sem.
Mendoza: First sem is for tryoutds and trainings.

Baguinon: In the event that it is Sunday or a holiday, you need a letter from the dean proving that the
dean approved of your reservation. You should also have a list of names of people who are allowed to
enter.
Mendoza: Maybe we can do a pubmat of the new list of associate deans.
Asiddao: We have not yet received the money from ERDFI. Do we still have to make the new dean sign?
Mendoza: Yes because the new dean is also the new director of NEC.

Leon: Wait for the public forum to get to know the new associate deans.

Mendoza: OSR texted. Who can come with on 1 pm on Friday at the office of the student regeant for a
consultation?

Mendoza: Maam Brida Diola texted asking for 6 people to help man or usher during the event at Ice on
September 8. CE reps, meet with her on Friday, 1 pm.

Centina: What happened to the PCARI campaign?

Francisco: Rain is still sick but he will get to it once he becomes well again.

CIVIL ENGINEERING REPRESENTATIVES

Rodriguez: Your projects and pubmats and articles are so good. But you have to post it to the Ice page
as well since they are your target audience. Use the Civil Engg Reps account to post.

COMPUTER SCIENCE

Mendoza: Academic Integrity Campaign: What is the progress?

Asiddao: For CS, we are coordinating it with the head of SAES. It is hard to move the volunteers since
an event just ended last week.
Mendoza: But you already have an idea to execute it?
Asi: We want to decrease the number of code-copying issues.
Mendoza: What is the end goal of the campaign? Since you also have a mentorship program, you can
help lessen the copying issues.

Rodriguez: Suggestion: You can start with our campaign then if you have already though of your own
branding in your department, you can pursue it.
Valleza: It will feature good coding practices and ethics.

Mendoza: When will GEECS happen?

Asidao: October. We changed the culminating activity by the way. We want it to be a community service
project.

EEE Representatives

Mendoza: Make sure that your tasks are clear for the centennial event. Make everything clear. Know
the details so you can already work. What are their plans for the centennial anyway?
Hizon: OMNI partnership: They will donate lights for EEE. This year, they will make solar charging lamps.
OMNI wants a short program for their project launch. We thought of doing this during the centennial.
Valleza: Why did the orgs pub their apps or?
Patco: The rule of the OWeek team is it is not allowed during the OWeek proper.

GE Representatives
Mendoza: I hope that you can already start with BRIDGE since we are approaching mid semester.
Pascual: Our articles are yet to be approved by the admin.

IE Representatives
Mendoza: When is the event of the IEAA?
Piedad: October 22. It is the only possible day when there are not ES exams in October.
Mendoza: Can you move it earlier?

Mendoza: You just launched ALLIES but there is still no restructuring yet?
Piedad: Yes. We will still meet with Sir Mico and finish the restructuring.

Ongpin: We are looking at Trinoma for our bazaar.
Mendoza: Try Centris as well.
Uy: Doc Jong asked for our own academic integrity campaign but said that it would be a bit off since it
seems like we are singling out MMM.
Mendoza: Use your bulletin boards for the academic integrity campaign pubs.
Rodriguez: Who will pay for it?
Mendoza: Hopefully Exte can try to print.
Ongpin: We are going to start it in our dept as well.

 In the long run, it will have its own space in the university- handled by students

Quitevis: What is the difference of SEC and UP StartUp?

Mendoza: I suggest you consult with UP StartUp since you have the almost the same goals.
Franza: This is not an org. it is under the VC for Student Affairs.
Mendoza: it is like JSEC in Ateneo.

OPENING WEEK
Mendoza: Secure a permit for Red Bull if they want to enter the building for the Service Booths day. It’s
okay outside for the Org Fair.

Baguinon: Volleyball for both GE and CE will be Friday 5:30 at CHAC.

Mendoza: Some games in September 3 were moved to September 2 since there are exams on
September 3.
Baguinon: Please forward all schedule concerns to Ivy and the SF team.

Torres: Please post a picture of a calendar for a certain week showing which games are to be held that
week so that people would not forget since a lot are asking.

Mendoza: Please finalize your logistics needs. Give a copy of the service booths poster to barangay
captains and barangay halls.
Leyson: Will they be allowed to enter?
Mendoza: Yes.
Rodriguez: Pub this also to those who will be taking the board exams since NBI clearance is needed for
the board exam.
Mendoza: Make a task delegation for Culmi Night set up. Make the tasks specific.
Mendoza: Please do give an effort for this. Games and events will be simultaneous. Please do help out
even if it is not your shift.
