Instilled a passion for physical education through innovative, engaging activities for students in
preschool through eighth grade. Developed age appropriate lesson plans that maximized
student development. Designed and implemented sports marketing class for high school
students. Fostered a learning environment for students to utilize creativity, technology, and
resources to market and promote high school sporting events to drive athletic event
attendance (i.e. tailgate party, half-time competitions, and themed student sections).

Identified the various abilities and learning styles of the students to maximize student
engagement so that each student developed fitness skills/knowledge at an age appropriate level.
Received nearly $2500 in grants, began a jump rope team, coordinated a 5k and tailgate party,
implemented a program with local college to host mini sports camps, and built relationships within
the community to introduce students to various lifelong exercises (i.e. zumba, step aerobics, jiu jitsu).
