Valentine’s Day promotion – what
personnel and resources are needed?
Purpose of this presentation
This presentation will introduce you to exploring
question of involvement in promotional activities:

 who?

 when?

 how?

 where?
Executing promotional activity using staff
and resources
Questions: Who? When? How? Where?
 Staff:
 tasks carried out in a timely fashion
 rostered to handle increase in customers
 positive attitude is crucial to success.

 Resources:
 assigned to a promotion.

For example, if a video shop retailer has a promotion ‘buy one


and get one free’ there needs to be sufficient stock to meet the
expected increased demand. Display boards above sale items
and marketing in local media is also required.
