Tucson, AZ (April 24, 2018) – In light of the unexpected school closings in Tucson-area
districts, the Children’s Museum Tucson, 200 S. 6th Ave. in Downtown Tucson, will offer a
reduced admission price of $3 per person on Thursday and Friday, April 26-27.
The Museum offers the opportunity for kids to discover and play while still learning in a fun,
hands-on environment. It’s a great place for kids to spend the time away from school without
sacrificing the educational experience they get in the classroom.
CMT has 17,000 square feet of space with 11 indoor exhibits. It also includes a beautiful
outdoor courtyard with an additional three exhibits and lots of space for kids to play and
imagine. Exhibits include Gravity, Techtopia, Bodyology, Build It! and Investigation Station.
The Museum requires entering adults to be accompanied by kids (under 18) and all children
must be supervised by an adult. The reduced-price admission is available at the Downtown
location only.
Children’s Museum Tucson serves more than 165,000 children and families annually who come to experience fun, hands-on learning
through play. The exhibits, programs and special events invite the young and the young-at-heart to discover and explore the arts,
sciences and humanities. Children’s Museum Oro Valley is designed for children ages 0-5 and provides exhibits and programs that
stimulate curiosity and motivate learning. Children’s Museum Tucson is a 501(c )(3) nonprofit.
