Hello, my name is Kassidi Koepke and I am seeking a nursing position in the RN New Graduate
Program at Banner Health. Banner Health as an organization is a prestigious leader in healthcare
and continues to be ranked one of the top five health systems in the U.S. which is why this
facility remains as my top choice for employment. Throughout my nursing program at The
University of Arizona, I have implemented Banner’s goals of providing care from the common
to the complex, by adapting my nursing skills to best serve individuals’ needs. Based on
Banner’s substantial expertise in providing excellent patient care, I believe my expertise in
holistic approaches as well as my clinical techniques, are well suited in serving all patients. My
background with infant as well as pediatric populations in my clinical rotations have more than
prepared me to serve within the hospital setting.

I am currently a senior nursing student at The University of Arizona College of Nursing, and will
be graduating in May 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in nursing as well as a minor in
Family Studies and Human Development. During my nursing program, I have maintained a
3.618 GPA, completed over 1,000 clinical hours in multiple care settings, and continued my
involvement in the Student Nurses of the University of Arizona professional program. Part of
my 1,000 overall clinical hours was my 180-hour preceptorship in the Neonatal Intensive Care
Unit at Banner Health. During this preceptorship, I enhanced my therapeutic communication
skills, specifically with the parents of the infants on the unit, while also safely providing
technical skills that were founded upon up to date evidenced based practice. I also have
experience with the pediatric population after being a Child Life Volunteer at Banner Health for
six months. This volunteer experience was on the Pediatric Medical/Surgical floor and consisted
of multiple responsibilities that improved my time management skills and increased my
adoration for the infant and pediatric population.

I am looking forward to joining the team at Banner Health where I will apply dedication and my
passion for learning and growing professionally that is supported by Banner in caring for others.
