words. I would like to share with all of you my journey till now with Rajnish Singh Rockey

I began my journey in the 6th semester of my engineering, by that time I had Tarun Yadav 1h
brainstormed myself for all the possible career options i had as a student of
engineering in DCE. Finally I decided to prepare for UPSC and began my Prakash Prabhakar
coaching with KSG in Rajinder nagar in january 2015 ,side by side I also
made sure that my college performance is not affected. My coaching went Archana Singh 1h
on till february 2016 when i was in the eight september. I made sure I
attended all the classes ,as mine was weekend batch, even during my Sachin Kumar 1m
college exams.I completed my college in may ,2016(i scored 77.12 %, was
ranked 5th in my batch). I applied for civil services Nitesh Yadav 4h
examination,whose prelims was supposed to be held in august that year. In
july , RBI grade B notification was out too ,I wanted to apply but the Sinto Joseph 3h
requirement was graduate as on 30 june ,2016 ,while my final result came in
july,which rendered me not qualified for the exam. I gave CSE prelims 2016, Gautam Rishi 14h
i got 120/200 and qualified for CSE mains. I focussed whole heatedly on
CSE mains,and did not take any other exam that year. As time was very less

and I had just completed my graduation, I just managed to cover the
syllabus of CSE mains(history opt),but could'nt do much of writing practice.
Lack of writing practice was evident during my mains exams,
I could'nt attempt all 20 questions in any of the paper,16-17 only i could
manage. I was not happy with my performance but somehow wished i would
clear the cut off
for it. The time after the mains, I waited for the mains result, did not study
anything during that period,but newspaper reading was something which i
never let go off.Mains result came in feb end,2017 and I was not selected.It
was disheartening , I felt very low at that time. My confidence was shaken up
on my abilities,my family supported me during those times and told me that
clearing prelims and reaching mains was itself an achievement in the first
attempt,and asked me to prepare again for it. I also knew that UPSC is a
tough exam but still that failure gave me a jolt from within.I did not want to go
for it that year and decided to focus on other exams for 2017 . I started
reading Business standard along with the hindu for creating a good base for
RBI , and started preparing for SSC .My father was not happy with my
decision.
He always said , you have the calibre to become a civil servant ,why are you
going for RBI or SSC(he is an AGM IN RBI ),but I had made my
decision.From March -april I did prepare for SSC maths and english, and
kept reading those 2 newspapers continuously(reading both itself consumed
3-4 hours of my day). Till that time expectations were that SSC prelims
would be held in may-june and I expected RBI notification by July only as
happened last year.So I focused more on SSC and less on RBI during that
time.When finally
may came,on 3rd may ,RBI notification was out and prelims was supposed
to be held on 17th june, and ssc was delayed till august.I had already bought
basic books for RBI,
ESI was almost covered in UPSC preparation, finance and management
was to be covered mostly afresh. I got myself Indian financial system by
M.Y.Khan and gave a general
reading of it to get myself acquainted with the Indian financial system . I read
about derivatives from NCFM modules . Seriously speaking,in first reading of
both,
MY Khan and NCFM module ,everything went over my head, but i Search

persevered and kept on reading and completed both. MY khan is around
400-500 pages and NCFM module
around 200 pages. Those 2 nespapers took atleas 3-4 hours of my day, and YOUR GAMES MORE

Started revising 11-12 NCERTS some more terms in finance on the website-
Guidance by Grade Investopedia to get the zist of what I read. Till now most of my preparation
B Officers was for SSC prelims, and RBI mains, I had not started for RBI prelims ,

given UPSC and was following newspapers regualrly.I enrolled myself for
oliveboard test series,I took a comprehensive one for both pre +mains along
with finance and management study material, it cost me around 3000. ADD MEMBERS

5 days, i was done with finance- the numerical portion plus derivatives from
P chandra and NCFM
module. Next I decided to revise Ramesh Singh's Indian economy and 11-12
NCERTS which I had read two three times earlier, another two days
over.Ramesh singh covers ESI, and public finance of F&M. I had 7 days left,
management i haven't even read even once till now and certain
miscellaneous parts of syllabus like alternate source of
finance,corporate governance etc. in the next 4-5 days, i read management SBI PO 2017

complete!!!!(around 700-800 pages),and few topics from Robbins. Apart
from that i remembered I had already enrolled for oliveboard which had
study material of F&M,so i covered my misc. topics from there
and from online sources. I gave mocks to acquaint myself of the exam type,
with my experience of pre ,I decided not to take the score of mocks seriously
and just
to take them for practice. In the last two days, i revised whtever i had read
