Rhythm Lesson

Objectives:
Students will be able too…
Keep a beat/ eighth pulse
Come in at the correct time
Say the rhythm correctly
Materials:

White board

Procedure:

Teacher will have example on board ready to go (see below)

Teacher will CIRCLE the beats in BOLD on the white board

Teacher will give example of the exercise

Students will slap on the beat and snap on the off beat and only say the beat or off beat that is
circled on the board
