The study developed, responds to a thesis for the degree of Magister Scientiarum in
Public Management, which was intended to propose a strategic plan of motivation for
job performance of public officials and IDENNA Barinas. This plan corresponds to a
contribution aimed at the administrative direction of Idenna Barinas, with emphasis
on enhancing the quality of job performance that meets human talent of this
institution. This study was conducted under the level of descriptive research,
supported in the form of feasible project, with a design of documentary and field
research non-experimental and as an instrument survey questionnaire with 15 items
and five (5) alternative responses. The population consisted of ninety-eight (98)
public employees of which sixteen (16) are administrative staff and coordinators,
sixty-eight (68) are teachers and fourteen (14) belong to advocacy and familiar
inclusion, representing 100% of the population. a type of non-probability sample was
used, which was formed by a number of thirty (30) workers distributed as follows:
eight (8) between administrative staff and coordinators, twelve (12) teachers, and ten
(10) defense and family inclusion personnel, representing 31% of the population. The
validity of the instruments was determined by three experts judgment and reliability
through Cronbach Alfa-coefficient. The respective data analysis was done by
calculating frequencies and percentages. The interpretation of the results allowed to
conclude that the institution does not have work motivation programs, so set out to
design a strategic plan motivation for job performance of public officials and Idenna
Barinas.
