The way that I ensured that my answers are correct was to plug them in at the end.
After doing the
matrices and getting a value for each variable I went and plugged in those values in the three systems of equations that I created. Using the matrix is just one way of doing, you can also use elimination to find the answers as well. Elimination would also work to check your answers to make sure you have done the Matrix correct. Having a basic knowledge of mathematics also helped to make sure that the math was done correctly. I had a family member sit down next to me while I was explaining the steps on the matrix and how to get the system into reduced row echelon form. Seeing that we got the values through the matrix and plugging them into the equations. My family member was convinced that the values were correct. (154 words)
