May I send a contribution on the future of the human race is threatened by technology?

Some years ago we could investigate through books, go to libraries, interact with our families

and friends, there was not so much environmental pollution; but with the technological

development that has been increasing over time, this has caused different types of changes,

affecting both culture and interpersonal relationships and environmental pollution, in recent years

we have noticed that our planet has been destroying little, little by little, with the unconsciousness

of the human being and the technological advances that our planet has experienced and that has

led us to the destruction of our environment although not all of them throw garbage in the streets,

rivers, green areas and other natural environments; there are still people who do it unconsciously

using means of transportation such as: motorcycles, cars, machinery and other objects and

instruments that pollute our planet and environment. Human activities, from the obtaining of a raw

material, to the disposal of the waste generated after obtaining a technological product, can have

disastrous consequences for the conservation of the environment. Such as, for example,

desertification, the environmental impact of technological works, pollution produced in the

obtaining and treatment of many raw materials or energy sources and the waste generated in many
industrial activities. For this problem if there is a solution and is becoming aware of what is

happening. Society now begins to be aware of the current problems of the environment so it is

beginning to reward companies that try to avoid this contamination.

Hello, Good morning, my opinion is:

Yes, this very threatened also the uncertain evolution ofartificial intelligence,Some people

think that technology can replace the humanbeing and in some parts to make more use of it.

Every day technology advances more and us becomingdependenon it and I think that i endanges

our planetis made inevitable the uncontrolled development of thetechnology and its misuse, cons

equently resulting in theincrease of environmental pollution.

I want you to read these words of Stephen Hawking,

"The development of artificial intelligence could be the greatest human achievement.

Unfortunately, it could also be the last if we don't learn to avoid their risks. "

The technology has advanced so much that it is remarkable, but also after this technology there

must always be a human being, because they are intelligent but by the intelligence of man, in the

future we will be surrounded by much more technology and maybe it will be easier to human being

and we will become competent in this impact.

Let's look at the UNAD, it is a great opportunity to study thank God, but behind this technology

there is always a human being controlling and starting everything, that is why we must be prepared

to the present.

Good afternoon.

Best regard.

I make my contribution, on environmental issues.

It is true that technology has produced positive changes in people's lives, facilitating life and

helping the growth of the world's economy, applying technology to industrial processes

generating more profits. But it is also clear that the development of technology has generated

very drastic changes in the environment, for example: the waste of technological devices every

day is increasing due to the exaggerated consumerism of humanity, it is true that many of its

components are recyclable, but there are also very toxic components such as lead, mercury and

selenium among others that help to degrade our soils and water sources, generating serious

health problems for humanity, and all living beings that inhabit it.

Undoubtedly the events of natural disasters in recent years has made humanity aware that we

must reduce the damage caused to the environment, for which environmental policies are

becoming stricter to companies that generate too much pollution due to their industrial activity.

is using technology to perform processes that do not generate too much pollution, obtaining the

same results.

But we must also emphasize that we all must contribute to take care of our habitat with very

simple things such as recycling every material that we generate in our houses for its reuse and

respect for nature such as not cutting down trees or contaminating the water sources of our

communities, this will not reverse the damages already caused, but to preserve what little

remains.

Goodnight

I believe that the problem is not technological development, there are advances that can help

improve human conditions without causing chaos and destruction, the damage is generated by the

inadequate implementation of exploitation practices that destroy the environment and this happens

because of the ambition of the people or organizations that exploit resources in order to obtain the

highest volume of profits at low costs.

This situation is generating destruction, is contaminating and disappearing water sources, is

generating desert spaces affecting the climate of the regions, is making the inhabitants of these

regions sick, is generating the extinction of fauna and flora, is polluting the air, all These aspects

are key to preserve the life of the human species.

The solution without hesitation is the implementation of laws and strict permits as well as high

and exemplary sanctions to those who are generating pollution of natural resources.

It is necessary to have a real environmental authority that works without corruption and that is

independent so that it exercises control of the processes executed by organizations that use natural

resources as their raw material.

Education is required from communities so they can exercise citizen oversight and can denounce

people or companies that are generating acts against the environment.

From the school should motivate the smallest environmental awareness promoting respect,

protection and implementation of good practices that help us preserve our resources, an example

of this is recycling in homes.

STEP 3

Start to participate weeks ahead the deadline, so you can have a discussion. Last days

contributions might not be included in the final paper.

I make my contribution to the claborative work.

Bye.

Conclusions

The questions of the Activity Guide were solved, we learned a lot in the grammatical part, we

learned that we should not depend on technology, that we should be as before.

In this collaborative work, a topic that is very important, such as climate change, its impacts

and the possible solutions to mitigate this problem, is discussed. The communication of each

partner shows the concern of a problem that for many people is indifferent.
