Dear Talent Acquisition Team,

I am responding to an advertisement found on the website by the name of Indeed, which
claimed you were searching for a candidate to become part of Jackson Health Systems. The
position this response is meant to is for a Registered Nurse working day time nursing shifts. It
mentioned that you guys are currently also hiring newly grads and offer internship options for
this position.
I am more than interested in becoming a part of your team and starting out with an excellent
hospital of such reputation. I completed 2 clinical rotations in Jackson North and felt incredibly
welcomed every single time. I made it a goal to apply to a position at your hospital because I felt
a sense of belonging during the semesters I spent there.
I have attached along with this message my resume, where you can see the clinical experience
that Miami Dade College program gave me the opportunity to be a part of for my clinical
rotations. Ranging from North Shore Medical Center to Miami Jewish Health Systems I am
familiar with hospital and clinical settings as well as the role of a nurse in each specific location.
I have been exposed to Behavioral Health, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Hospice Care, along with
Community Health which gave me a broad understanding of how nurses can influence
communities and the difference teaching can really make in people's lives.
I am to graduate in less than a month and preparing to take my NCLEX and ace it in order to
hopefully become part of your team. It would be an honor to discuss my experience further and
how I can become one of the nurses at your hospital. I appreciate your time, and feel free to
contact me at any time as I have provided my contact information.
Sincerely,
Velia Selva, Future RN.
