To

Concern:
Université d’Ottawa
Faculté d’éducation It
is
with
the
utmost
of
confidence
that
I
can
act
as
a
reference
for
Adam
Green.
As
the
Assistant
Director
of
Teacher
Education
for
the
University
of
Ottawa,
Faculty
of
Education,
I
have
known
Adam
since
September
2017
in
several
different
capacities.
As
a
student
of
mine
in
PED
3150
(Professional
Inquiry
in
Practice)
I
can
attest
to
Adam’s
academic
commitment,
specifically
in
all
areas
of
the
Teacher
Education
University of Ottawa program.
His
work
shows
research,
analytical
skills
of
a
high
quality
and
an
ability
to
Faculty of Education comprehend
not
only
context,
but
also
the
desire
to
apply
what
he
has
learned
to
his
professional
practice.
This
pursuit
of
excellence
was
exemplified
in
his
practicum
experiences
as
well.
In
supervising
his
Year
1
practicum
I
have
had
the
pleasure
of
observing
Adam
teach.
In
his
role
as
a
teacher
candidate,
Adam
demonstrated
a
caring
professional
presence
in
his
classroom
and
a
positive
rapport
with
his
students.
His
students
were
quick
to
tell
me
that
he
“was
doing
an
great
job”.
He
managed
a
very
busy
teaching
schedule
with
clear
expectations
for
ensuring
a
respectful
community
of
learners.
Adam
showed
a
very
strong
commitment
to
student-‐centered
and
inquiry
based
learning,
attention
to
detail
in
his
planning
and
assessing
his
students’
learning,
and
used
strategies
and
differentiation
to
meet
the
needs
of
all
his
students.
He
was
extremely
adaptable
and
ready
to
apply
all
feedback
from
his
Associate
Teacher
to
improve
his
practice.
Expectations
for
learning
outcomes
were
always
clear.
Technology,
creativity
and
hands-‐on
activities
were
very
effectively
used
in
all
his
units.
Adam
is
also
a
member
of
the
“Developing
a
Global
Perspective
for
Educators”
cohort,
and
has
been
an
active
participant
in
a
number
of
projects
and
initiatives.
He
tackles
challenges
with
originality
of
thought,
hard
work
and
perseverance.
His
wide
range
of
work
and
volunteer
experiences
attest
to
his
passion
for
learning.
Adam
is
a
motivated
individual
who
demonstrates
a
friendly,
positive,
and
professional
manner.
As
he
ends
his
first
year
in
the
Teacher
Education
program
at
the
University
of
Ottawa,
I
would
definitely
recommend
him
for
any
further
academic
or
professional
opportunities
he
pursues
and
I
feel
he
would
be
an
asset
to
any
professional
or
learning
environment.
