2011 calendar
2011 is the year of the volunteer, so to find the 12 stunning images for
this year’s Woodland Trust calendar we ran a photography competition
for our volunteers and supporters. The result is a wonderful celebration
of native trees and woodland. Our volunteers play an enormously
important role in achieving our aims, and our volunteer photographers
– both professional and amateur – provide us with hundreds of stunning
images every year to help us promote woods and trees.

Our native trees are cell grown from seed collected around the British isles and
come with an undisturbed root system to get established faster.
Tree saplings are normally 20-40cm in height. Shrub varieties, ie holly, are normally
pruned to generate more side shoots and are therefore 10-20 cm tall. All saplings
are delivered directly from the nursery and will be delivered separate to other
items ordered.
