ENG 4C Summative Performance Task

Task:
• Create a Public Awareness Campaign (PAC)
designed for a High School to publicize awareness
about any theme studied throughout the course
comprising of:
▪ Print Advertisement Breakdown -
▪ An outline of your campaign plan -
Report
▪ A letter to Canadian Government "
▪ A Rational of your choices (Oral
Presentation)
▪ Reflection - Peer and Personal
Assessment
What?
• You are to create/Research a PAC addressing a social/physical/emotional topic that you
feel the audience needs to be made aware of

How?
• You will be given several full classroom period, as well as parts of other evenings. You
are allowed to use personal/home time
• You will have to do research, from accredited sites
• You will have to re-write material that you find. (NO PLAGIARISM)
• You will have to use statistics to help back up your message
• You will be presenting this orally to the class


When?
• Summatives will be presented on Thursday May 18th 2017, there are no extensions
as your exam is the following evening.
