1. Open

2. File> New Project> ok

3. Option> Unit system > SI> ok

4. Geometric > click >river reach - draw line > double click at the end> river & reach
name> ok
5. Cross section> option > add cross section> type 0 at downstream station> ok >
Description: Downstream> coordinates> Manning Coefficient’s> LR Bank > Ext Coeff.
> Apply data

6. Copy cross section to upstream> type 30 distance to upstream >ok> yes>Description:

Upstream> Apply data> LOB:Channel:ROB: 30> Apply data> close box
7. Interpolation XS > Geometric box> Click reach> tools> XS interpolation > between 2
XS’s> Max. distance: 5> interpolate > close

8. Flow data>Add PF : 2 > PF1 - Q: 5 sec, PF2-Q : 15 >

Rename PF1 or PF2 > options > edit profile name > ok
Reach boundary condition> critical depth > ok > Apply data

9. Run> Perform steady flow simulation> supercritical >compute

Note: Make sure all files listed in
10. View profile > check variables, profile line > cross section view
11. Table result > Options > Select profile ---> add > Ok

12. After run the project – check for each section- effective or not
13. Modification > Tools > Channel modification> template design > redesign
14. Add Alternative design > #1 etc for all XS
15. Estimate cut & fills cost for effective design> create a geometry file ( file name modified-
Geo-m)> ok
16. After modification for flooded XS >Run again > needs any modification template design
or alternative design. > redesign

17. Check data in the tables and PF
