Eligibility Criteria
▪ open to all artisans in Vaughan and the greater
Toronto Area.
▪ Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
▪ Art and craft items must be designed, created and
hand-crafted by the artisan. only original work can be
featured.
▪ Applications will not be accepted on behalf of a third
party or as an agent.
▪ All art and craft media is eligible and may include – but
is not limited to – the following categories:
▪ accessories ▪ ceramics ▪ clothing ▪ collectables
▪ décor ▪ edibles ▪ furniture ▪ glass ▪ jewellery
▪ painting ▪ paper ▪ photography ▪ prints
▪ sculpture ▪ soaps ▪ textiles ▪ toys ▪
Digital Submission Format
▪ A maximum of 3 images representing your work must
be identified by surname and be submitted digitally on a
CD as JpEg files along with all support material. No
photographs, slides or samples of work will be
accepted.
▪ Digital images will be viewed by a selection committee
using a projection system; so images must be large
enough to be projected properly and should depict
close-up details of individual pieces of work.
Submission Deadline/Fees
▪ Entries including all support material must be received
in full by Friday, october 22, 2010.
▪ The booth rental fee is $60. please enclose a cheque
made payable to the City of Vaughan for the full amount
post-dated to Friday, october 29, 2010. Cheques will be
cashed only upon acceptance into the show. please
note, no refunds will be issued for cancelled
reservations.
▪ Artisans meeting the submission deadline will be
notified of their application status by Friday,
october 29, 2010.
Accepted Exhibitors
▪ All submissions will be reviewed by a selection
committee. Spaces are limited; so committee decisions
will be based upon artisan eligibility, craftsmanship and
presenting as wide a range of art and craft media as
possible.
▪ booth locations will be assigned to exhibitors by City
staff to balance art and craft media throughout the

show. Artisans are encouraged to indicate special EnTRy FORM
