CERTIFICATE INSTALLATION TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE.

1. UNABLE TO REQUEST FOR M-PESA CERTIFICATE

Please follow below instruction from your machine.

From your Internet Explorer browser;

Click on Tools

Compatibility View Settings

Go to add this website: vodafone.com

Click Add and then Close

The page should refresh and you will be able to request for a certificate.

Note: Ensure the date and time settings in your computer are correct.

2. USING A HIGHER INTERNET EXPLORER VERSION 10+

Hit the F12 key on your keyboard

Go to Browser Mode

Select Internet Explorer 9/8/7

Alternatively select TOOLS then select COMPATABILITY VIEW

The page should refresh and you will be able to request for a certificate.
3. CERTIFICATE REQUEST WAS APPROVED BUT IT’S NOT
AVAILABLE UNDER PENDING REQUEST

From your internet explorer browser,

Go to tools

Internet options

Under general

Uncheck delete browsing history on exit- apply and press ok.

(Ensure you have saved vodafone.com on compatibility view setting as

shown on step one above)

Go back to certificate site and request for a new certificate.

Note: Ensure the date and time settings in your computer are correct.
4. M-PESA CERTIFICATE HAS BEEN INSTALLED BUT CAN’T
ACCESS M-PESA SITE: https://org.ke.m-pesa.com/

You have successfully downloaded M-PESA certificate but you can`t access M-PESA site-

https://org.ke.m-pesa.com/

Kindly update your internet explorer with below:

Enable all versions of TLS on IE. especially 1.2 and SSL 3.0.

Internet options>>advanced>> Tick checkbox TLS v1.2 and SSL 3.0.


Click Ok then restart browser.

The page should refresh and you will be able to access the site.

Alternatively: you can use Google chrome to access the site: https://org.ke.m-pesa.com/
