offering you feedback based on the selected competencies for this semester.

Commitment to the Profession

Students demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality
Students accept and respect school based authority structures, and complete reasonable request from
school MST and leadership
Students are prepared and ready for each lesson
Students build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
Students demonstrate a positive attitude towards teaching and learning
Comments:
Jawaher always comes on time and helps her MST. The MST seems happy to work with Wulaa and
she is helping her in providing her with strategies and ideas to teach boys a Maths class

Jawaher gave me the lesson before I observed her teaching to let me have enough time to go
through it and to know what to focus on during her lesson.

Planning for Learning

Completed lesson plan for every lesson, printed and available to MST and MCT upon request
Ensure lesson plans have sufficient detail to secure effective delivery
Learning objectives are testable and directly linked to curriculum outcomes
Lesson plans have clear assessment which includes formative activities
Lesson plans demonstrate a good level of balance (energy, MIs, skills etc)
Comments:

The lesson plan was given when I entered the class and it is specific enough and with correct ADEK
learning outcome. The lesson plan has enough details to reach the learning objective of the lesson.

Jawaher had a formative assessment at the end of the class which was an individual activity about
grouping the numbers

Managing Learning
Uses appropriate classroom management strategies to secure a safe and effective learning environment
Establishes and manages classroom routines and transitions
Incorporates cooperative learning strategies
Comments:
Great that you made the action! Minus 1 for Hamdan

Instead of repeating the instructions, do the actions

Implementing Learning
Presents material which is accurate, meaningful and accessible to support student engagement and learning
Includes a range of student-centered activities in the lesson
Instructions are given at appropriate times within a lesson and are clear and concise
Appropriately uses a variety of questions that fit appropriately within the lesson context
Implements differentiated instruction to lessons taught, where appropriate
Comments:
You started the class with the instructions (minus or add). Then you explained the name of the
lesson. Then you asked the students to come and set at the front and you sat on the floor with
them.

Good to keep reminding them with the points.

You showed them blocks to let them count by putting it in groups. Can you put it in groups of five?
(5,10,15,20) then you explained. Now I want counting by two’s: (2,4,6,8) and you kept repeating
until you made sure that all the students understood.

Then you asked the students to go back to their group and you did an activity as a whole class.
Good to explain the activity before you gave it to them and then you showed them an example

Assessment
Students are monitoring purposively (observed) in relation to learning and behaviour
Utilizes effective formative assessment strategies to gauge student progress
Has organized a system to effectively record student data and information
Constructive feedback is provided to students in a timely and appropriate manner
Comments:

The assessment was the last activity which was about grouping the numbers

Reflection on Practice
Reflects on their own practice leading to improvement of practice
Reflections are conducted and recorded consistently and are accessible to the MST and MCT
Comments:

Strengths:
1- Clear voice
2- Good use of reinforcement
3- Good to make sure that all the students understood the lesson
4- Good to set the timer

Areas of development
1- Instead of keep repeating that students should stay away from each other, do the minus or
stop the activity directly.
2- For the students who still misbehave, do the action instead of stress yourself and repeat
again.
3- Instead of putting all activities together, either you ask students to do the activity
individually and every student has an activity to do, or you just give them one activity and
when they finish you give them the other one and so on
