This article observed the long- term effect that early childhood education had on students. To observe this, they enrolled students into a program entitled, TOPs, The Opportunity Project. This program allowed children in lower socio- economic status to attend excellent early childhood education facilities. They observed the students by monitoring and assessing them by comparing them to a control group. The control group was not enrolled in the program and suffered from similar at home difficulties as the students in TOPs. The results were evidence of early childhood education as successfully benefiting the students long- term for several reasons. The students in TOPs, had higher attendance than the control group, lower disciplinary rates than the control and even scored higher on testing than the control group. PART B:

Good managers, according to this article, are able to translate the vision of the company to workers. Good managers work as the liaison between corporate and the workers. This article states that communication is essential for the job of a manager. Through this article the reader is able to unfold factual evidence of the value found in the managerial position. PART C:

The article is inclusive of a testimony of the author. The author began his running journey at two hundred pounds and an addict to cigars and alcohol. The author decided to change his life and begin to run. This article focuses on the impact of a daily routine and commitment. The article explains how the author went on to run ultramarathons, any distance beyond that of a marathon. The author expresses that he became addicted to marathons. He stated that at times, he ran over 40 miles a day. The importance of establishing a daily routine is essential for remaining committed.
