Please add specific comments about the student teacher’s observed strengths during this teaching practicum and identify areas
in which you feel further development is necessary.

Observed Strengths:‫ قوية‬/‫نقاط ايجابية‬ Areas in which further development is needed:

* you were very calm and comfortable and the students
responded very well. You were very caring and you make
full use of the entire classroom by walking around and
coming in close contact with the students. Young children
need that closeness.
*Very good visuals. The images projected helped the
students conceptualize the 3Rs. They truly help the
delivery of the lesson.
*Very good connection between the images and the 3Rs.
Various examples were given in ways we can reduce, reuse
and recycle. I particular like the school bus example to
reduce the usage of fossil fuel.

* Review your question, you showed the students a picture about
different types of pollution and yet, you later asked them if they were
natural resources. You asked how many types of pollution are there?
But you did not mention the three types
*Lesson was too teacher centered. Twenty minutes of the time was
spent on whole class instruction.
*Explain the purpose of the activities to the student and not only the
process.
*Provide more challenging activities to the students. The posters
could have been more individualized and creative in a way for the
students to show their own understanding of the concept.

*transitions were done smoothly. *There were no evidence of differentiation in the lesson
*Students were rewarded with stickers as positive
reinforcement.

*Students’ progress were monitored during the lesson

through discussion.
General comments

Topic: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

You are a very caring teacher. The lesson was very well executed. The lesson’s objectives were in alignment with the activities,
although they could have been more intellectually challenged. You have good classroom management and the students appear to
have understood the lesson.
