MEDICAL GAS SHUT DOWN PROCEDURE

(In case of Medical Gas Leakage)

1. Transfer the patient who is in Central Oxygen to a mobile Oxygen Supply.

2. Break the glass using the emergency glass hammer

3. Turn off all the valves for the affected Area in a clock wise direction

4. In case of fire:

a. Follow Fire Procedure (R-A-C-E)

b. Follow Exit Sign and Evacuate the Patient/ Visitors

c. Proceed to the Emergency Assembly Point.
