2 EARTHWORKS
2.1 Site Clearance
Landscape Contractor to remove and cart away off site all
vegetation and domestic Waste etc. under supervision and
instruction of the Landscape Architect. Landscape Architect
to point out items to be removed at the tender site
meeting. It Remains the responsibility of the Landscape
Contractor to acquaint him/herself on Site with the scope
of this item. Includes areas to be landscaped with lawn. m2 1675
2.2 Earth Mounds
Landscape Contractor to re‐use existing building rubble and
debris like bricks, Broken tiles and lumps of concrete to
form core of earth mounds. All excavated soil To be re‐
used for shaping and covering earth mounds. m2 665
2.3 Lawn
Excavate in‐situ material to depth of 100mm (re‐use
excavated material on earth Mounds – as included in item
2.2). scarify and prepare soil as specified. Rotovate Scope

2.4 Play area
Excavate insitu material to a depth of 100mm (re‐use
excavated material on earth Mounds – as included in item

2.5 Trees.
Excavate 0.125m² (500x500x500mm) of soil per tree (re‐
sure excavated Material on earth mounds – as included in
item 2.2). Contractor to acquaint himself With soil
conditions and the scope of the works on site. Scarify
bottom of Excavation, before backfilling. All tree holes are
to be inspected by the Client prior to filling with topsoil. Item 15
2.6 Fine grading and shaping
Fine grading and shaping as specified to all landscaping

2.7 Compost (Supplied by JCP)
Supply and spread compost as specified. Compost to tree
holes, shrub and Groundcover areas and lawn areas.
