LESSON PLAN (2017-2018)

Topic: Recap of TG equipment, circles and polygons.

Student Name: Martin Hopkins, Daragh Keady, Gary Donnelly, Sean O’Donnell
Date: 6/12/2017
Duration of Lesson: 40 minutes

1. AIMS

The main aims of this lesson are to:

 Reinforce previous learning from groups 1, 2 and 3 about TG equipment, circles and
polygons.
 Ensure students can recognise and distinguish between various types of polygons; circles,
triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, septagon, octagon, nonagon, decagon.
 Individualise and construct 3D models of polygons and circles so that they may visualise
the development from 2D to 3D.

2. MAIN LEARNING OUTCOME & CORRESPONDING ASSESSMENT

Learning Outcomes (LOs) Assessment of LOs

At the end of this lesson the students will be (Note: each LO has an assessment. Include a variety
