Grade and Topic: 1st Grade Science Length of Lesson: 1 Hour 30 Minutes in class/One-
week weather observation
LESSON OBJECTIVE:
● Given an educational video on the four seasons, the student will be able to distinguish the four seasons
with 100% accuracy.
● Given an educational video on the four seasons, the student will be able to identify appropriate clothing
associated with the appropriate season within 15 minutes.
● Given an educational video on different types of weather, the student will be able to collect data by
recording the weekly weather and predict the weather with 90% accuracy.

MATERIALS:
● Printed pictures/cut outs of clothing
● Glue Stick
● Scissors
● Blue, Green, Red, Brown construction paper

Technology will be incorporated by creating a table in Microsoft word to document the weather recordings from each
