Christine Fahey shares her passion for blockchain
technology as co-founder and Executive Director of the
local non-pro it, Blockchain901. She is an IT professional
with over 15 years of experience in systems
implementation in the public and private sectors.
Christine received a Master of Science degree in
Information Systems with a Graduate Certificate in
Business Intelligence and Analytics from the University of
Memphis in 2017. She received a Bachelor of Arts in
Mathematics from Temple University in Philadelphia in
1993.

Brian Wentzloff is a developer


and fintech/blockchain entrepreneur who has extensive
experience with web and blockchain technologies. Brian
is a board member of Blockchain901, a Memphis non-
profit focused on promoting Memphis as a blockchain
and emerging technology hub. He is a 2007 University of
Memphis Graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music
Recording Technology.

Deidre Chewning continues discovering her passion for


data and innovative technology as a co-founder of
Blockchain901 where she promotes the use of blockchain
as a solution in both the private and nonprofit
sector. Deidre has over a decade of professional
experience helping organizations gain insights and take
action from data. As a nonprofit board member, Deidre
has led efforts to evaluate programs, projects and
process effectiveness through data driven methods.
Deidre is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State
University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science
and a graduate of the University of Memphis with the
degrees of Master of Public Administration and most
recently, a Master of Science in Information Systems with
a Graduate Certificate in Business Intelligence and
Analytics completed in Fall 2017.

Dr. Margaret Schultz, Instructor of Business Information


and Technology, received a B.S. from the University of
Toledo in 1979, an MBA degree from Cleveland State
University in 1982 and a Ph.D. from the University of
Memphis in 2004. She has taught numerous MIS courses
over the past 30 years including C++ and Java
programming, Database Design, Website Development,
Data Analytics, and Project Management. She has
provided extensive service to the college and university
by serving on several committees including the Teaching
and Learning Advisory Committee and the Design of
Online Standards (DOLS) Committee. She also serves as
Faculty Advisor to the University's student chapter of the
Association for Management Information Systems. Most
recently, Dr. Schultz served as faculty advisor to a team
of students who have qualified as finalists in a student
blockchain competition held in April.
