AMBER ALERT / KIDNAPPING

5-YEAR-OLD LUIS RAMIREZ JR.
6-MONTH-OLD KAHMILA RAMIREZ
The Tucson Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to locate two missing/kidnapped children,
5-year-old Luis Ramirez Jr. and 6-month-old Kahmila Ramirez.

On May 4, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., the non-custodial parents, 30-year-old Luis Ramirez and 28-year-old Andrea Ramirez, were
meeting with a Case Aid at Silver Lake Park (2420 S. Kino Parkway) for a supervised visit with the children. During the
visit, Luis Ramirez assaulted the female Case Aid, threatened her with a Taser and then tied her to a tree in the park. Luis
and Andrea then took the children and fled in a green/teal colored 4-door Toyota Camry (license plate #BKH8427). The
victim was left tied to the tree for over 30 minutes before a passerby found her and called police. The victim suffered
minor injuries and is now safe with family and friends.

 5-year-old Luis was last seen wearing a gray and white striped polo shirt with khaki shorts.
 6-month-old Kahmila was last seen wearing a white onesie with yellow ruffles.
 Luis Ramirez (biological father) is described as Hispanic, 5’7, 210lbs, black hair, brown eyes, with a mustache
and beard. He was last seen wearing a red and white striped polo shirt with blue jeans.
 Andrea Ramirez (biological mother) is described as Hispanic, 5’5, 220lbs with black hair and brown eyes. She
was last seen wearing a white shirt with blue jeans and had her hair in a bun.

A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Luis Ramirez and Andrea Ramirez for one count of Kidnapping and two
counts of DV-Kidnapping. An Amber Alert was also issued in an attempt to locate the children.

Two days prior to this incident (May 2, 2018), Luis and Andrea were arraigned on 20 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a
Minor (not involving their children). With the recent charges and display of violence, the Tucson Police Department is
extremely concerned for the safety of these children. Detectives are asking anyone with any information on their possible
whereabouts to please call 911 immediately.

A picture of the children and non-custodial parents are attached below.
