GENERAL WARNINGS
 Installation must be done in accordance with the safety standards in force and by qualified and prepared personnel. An incorrect
installation can cause damage to people, things or animals.
 This appliance is completely safe only if it is connected to an effective earthing system, executed as envisaged by qualified per-
sonnel in compliance with current safety rules and regulation.
 This appliance is to be used only for what it has been designed for. Any other use is to be considered incorrect and therefore
dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by an incorrect and unreasonable use.
 When using the electrical appliance several safety behavioural standards must be observed:
- do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet;
- do not use the appliance in bare feet;
- do not use extensions in rooms where there showers or baths;
- do not pull the power supply cable to disconnect the appliance;
- do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.)
- do not allow the appliance to be used by children or incapable people.
 To clean the machine do not use or direct a jet of water against the appliance. The daily cleaning operations should be carried
out according to the instructions given in this manual.
 In case of breakdowns or poor functioning turn off the appliance and do not attempt any repairs.
 Any repairs of the product must only be done by the manufacturer or by an authorised assistance centre using exclusively original
spare parts. If this standard is not observed the safety of the appliance is compromised and cancels the guarantee.
 The power supply cable must not be replaced by the user. If the cable is damaged turn off the machine and contact only profes-
sionally qualified personnel.
 If you should decide not to use the appliance any longer it is recommended to make it inoperative by disconnecting the power
supply cable from the electrical network and emptying the water.
 To guarantee that the machine is efficient and works properly it is essential to follow the manufacturer’ s instructions, having
periodical maintenance and a check of all the safety devices done by qualified personnel.
 Do not expose your hands or other body parts to the coffee, steam or hot water spouts . The steam and water that come from
the spouts can cause burns.
 When functioning, the steam and water spouts become overheated and are to be handled with caution only in the indicated
parts.
 Cups must be placed on the top only after having been thoroughly dried. Do not use this top for items that do not appertain to
the coffee maker.
 The espresso coffee machine must be used at a temperature between 41°F (5°C) and 104°F (40°C).
 Any unauthorised handling of any parts of the machine renders any guarantee null and void.

This part of the manual is for the user: clear, simple instructions are given for the correct and complete
operation of the coffee-maker.

1. PRESENTATION

This coffee-maker is strictly for professional use. It is designed to make hot drinks such as tea, cappuccino, hot milk
and weak, strong and espresso coffee, etc.
This automatic coffee-maker can dispense coffee and other beverages quickly and completely automatically.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN IN THIS MANUAL THROUGH CAREFULLY before attemp-
ting to use the coffee-maker. The user must be sufficiently skilled to use this coffee-maker
properly.

13. PREPARATION OF FOAMED MILK WITH L’AUTOSTEAMER


(optional)

Place the Autosteamer nozzle in the

To stop water being dispensed before it has finished, press the

To adjust water temperature, open the top door of the coffee-maker


and turn the knob located at the top.
To increase water temperature turn the knob clockwise or coun-
terclockwise to reduce it. By turning the knob clockwise as far as
it will go, only steam will exit the hot water delivery tube!

16. COFFEE GRINDING


To adjust the coarseness of your ground coffee open the top door of
the coffee-maker and turn the grinder-doser knob.
The value indicated by the cursor is the degree of grinding:
1 finely ground, 7 coarsely groun.

To obtain a good espresso it is recommended not to


keep large stocks of coffee grains. Observe the expiry
date indicated by the producer.

17. GETTING RID OF THE GROUNDS


The coffee grounds drawer must be appears on the display COFFEE DREGS

The coffee grout tray must be left out for more than 15 seconds. Put the tray back in place when the message

To stop the washing cycle before it has finished press the STOP button . Wash the coffee-maker at
least once a day and before stopping to use it temporarily.

Do not forget to carry out the washing cycle for each dispensing unit at least once a day.

For perfect cleaning of the cappuccino maker, be sure to use the specific detergent diluted in water in
the amount indicated on the package (see installer).

19. CHECKS AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE


Always keep the following coffee-maker parameters under control:
 boiler pressure should read between 1 and 1.2 bar on the gauge
 when the coffee-maker is dispensing, pump pressure should read between 8 and 9 bar on the gauge

We recommend having the coffee-maker checked periodically by a specialised technician. Whenever the coffee-maker
malfunctions always call in a technician.

20. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE


Each day:
Wash the cappuccino maker as follow:
- Put the milk suction tube in a container
with milk and soap.
- Select the milk button

- Repeat this several times
- For the last time repeat it again using
ordinary water.

Each day:
Open the top door of the coffee-make and
clean all the accessible surfaces with the
brush.

Each day:
Clean the steam nozzle with a damp cloth.
Use a thin needle to unclog any holes.

Each day:
Clean the coffee grounds drawer with the
brush.

Frequently:
Carry out the washing cycle each time the
machine necessitates it.

Each day:
Clean the inside and outside of the
grinder-doser hopper with a damp cloth.
We recommend cleaning the coffee-
maker when you have finished using it.
