Factoring in my academic and organizational responsibilities, I am available to work Tuesday
from 7:00 PM-10:00 PM, Thursday from 7:00 PM-10:00 PM, and Friday from 4:00 PM-10:00
PM.

2. How willing are you to participate in team activities on the weekend? (Please answer using
the following: I can’t, it’s OK, I’ll be
there!)
I have multiple organizational obligations on weekends, however I live on campus which gives
me the ability to be more flexible to work with my group on weekends.

3. Are you a commuter? If so, how long does it take you to get to campus?
I live on campus.

4. If you have a job or internship, on average, how many hours does this take up each week?
I do not have a job at this time.

5. Do you have other commitments, such as Greek life or sports? How long do they take up
each week?
I am on the eboard for four different organizations and am an active member of another. These
obligations occupy about 15-20 hours a week.

6. How would you rate your public speaking skills on the following scale: 1) Very Comfortable; 2)
Comfortable; 3) Uncomfortable
I would rate myself a 1. I work well in front of an audience; and as a communications major I
have taken several courses in public speaking.

7. What software skills can you contribute to a team?


I am proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere.

8. What types of technical/creative/repurposing tools can you contribute to a team?


I have access to a MacBook Pro and a dated version of Adobe.

9. How long have you been communicating in English?


English is my first language, and I have been speaking it fluently for several years.

10. Do you use other languages than English? If so, please list them.
I have a minimal understanding of Spanish.
11. How would you define your own writing skills, using a scale of 1-10 (1=needs intensive
remedial work; 10=writes virtually
flawlessly)
I would place my writing skills at somewhere between 6.5 and 7. I have a very extensive
vocabulary and am great at forming coherent sentences. However, when it comes to writing
professionally or even academically in which I need to couple my work with other resources: I
am severely lacking.

12. What’s your preferred leadership role within a team? (Project Manager, Resource Manager,
Lead Editor, Researcher, etc.)
I honestly do not understand the responsibilities inherent to each role. However, working as
project manager or a lead presenter would play to my strengths of communication and working
with others.

13. What are your biggest strengths as a student or as a professional? Please identify at least
two. (For instance, good at taking
notes, enjoys public speaking, likes to make posters and handouts, others)
My top five Gallup Strengths are Winning Others Over, Communication, Positivity, Empathy,
and Includer. These strengths all translate into a work setting through making strong
interpersonal connections and creating a healthy and stimulating environment for my coworkers
and peers.
