CHOICE #1: Phonics Practice


Find as many ir and ur words as you can and read them to a family
member! Practice writing your words for the week in shaving cream, with
sidewalk chalk, or in sand!

CHOICE #2: Problem Solving


Solve: Johnny has 6 more apples than Sam. Sam has 24 apples. How many
apples does Johnny have?

CHOICE #3: Math practice:


Find 3 objects in your house and compare their size. Use the words shorter and
longer to order them by size.

CHOICE #4: Chalk it up:


Go outside and write your Letterland words on the
driveway in chalk! Be sure to get a parent’s permission first.

CHOICE #5: Comprehension Practice:


Read a non-fiction story and tell 3 facts from the story.
