I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Taylor Trudell. As Taylor’s art teacher, I
am honored to have her as a student. This young lady had grown immensely as an artist. She has
refined her painting skills traditionally and digitally. Her drawing skills are becoming more
realistic and detailed. I am so impressed with her dedication to excellence. This year, Taylor is
taking an Advanced Art class in which she has to work independently. It is impressive that she is
doing a great job of juggling her schoolwork with the demands of this advanced class.

Taylor Trudell was inducted into the National Art Honor Society this year. The purpose of the
NAHS is to promote art in the school and community. The honor society students committed to
painting canvases to promote art throughout the school. This has been a huge undertaking. I have
appreciated Taylor working every week to make this project happen. She has been an anchor in
completing her paintings without assistance. Taylor is reliable and exhibits an excellence work
ethic. She rarely misses school or deadlines in class. These qualities will make Taylor an
exceptional college student.

Like any young person, Taylor plans to attend college. She has expressed an interest in attending
school for animation. I am very excited for her to pursue this career. I believe Taylor would do
well in this program. She has already tackled some of the projects that would be required in a
college class. This will give her an edge over other students taking the class for the first time.
Taylor shows a perseverance that will make her an excellent student. I have no doubt she will
accomplish her dreams and aspirations.
