Issues
Explain the main issues underlying the case. Place extra attention on the what, why and when.
 To continue or not to continue the coffee shop.
 Business of coffee shop was slow, less people came, mostly Cikgu Burn’s friend who are
retirees. At times they struggled to make end meets.
 Raslan is the only sons who help with the business. Closing the business will mean losing
their only source of income beside pension which may not be sufficient. Raslan also
depend on the business to support his family
 Rahim, the youngest son that need his support as he did not have permanent income and
always in a mess (trouble)
 Landlord is offering Cikgu Burn to let-off the shop to him
 Cikgu Burn’s current condition to continue the business
