The green religious movement is gaining momentum to preserve the Earth’s natural
resources. Many catholic organizations made plans to remove themselves from fossil fuel using
companies. Issues are at hand. Donald Trump decided to remove himself from the climate accord
in Paris which deems itself troubling. The catholic group claims that climate change is the
number one challenge we as humans face.
This article is helpful for my essay because the religious groups and organizations are
using science to help preserve Earth’s natural resources. They call it “Saving God’s creation”.
This could help answer whether religion is compatible with science.

Studies show that Christian concerns about the environment is reducing. It also shows
that Christians concerns are less and probably not more. Konisky points out in his study that
Christians do know about global warming, but they do not believe that it is a man-made
phenomenon. None of the aspects he pointed out influenced any of them. Furthermore, what the
bible teaches about the environment is irrelevant.
This article shows how religious faith and science don’t really meet ends. Human impact
on the environment does not concerns them. Some don’t believe in global warming and believe
it is all God’s plan.

Two religious figures came together to discuss an issue affecting everyone. Climate
change needs to be the put first to be solve. Human obligation is needed to fix this issue. This
event was held by the Interfaith Center for Sustainable development. The whole purpose was to
give awareness about to the people about climate change.
This article is helpful because religious groups are willing to use scienctific methods to
solve this issue. They are even open to say that our impact on the Earth is the cause of the issue,
not God’s plan. It is our role to fix this problem.

This article is stating how people believe im the history of religion and not evolution. It
also states that for those who believe in evolution as well. Not only that, but the conflicts adults
have with religion clashing with science and social freedom.
This article can help me with how religion is compatible with science and how badly the
conflict resides within those individuals who believe in particular things. People evolve and

Nuclear energy was first discovered as means of having a lot of energy. It was meant for
good when it was first discovered. Since this was discovered at the time of WWII, they decided
to use it as a weapon of mass destruction. It was used as a counter threat with no protection.
This article can help prove that without religious guidelines that science can get out of
hand. It needs some type of ethical boundary.

There was so much sin in the world and people lost Faith in God therefore, God in return
decided to wash the earth clean. If this is true, 100s of thousands of people were brutally
murdered.
This example shows how religion is not innocent by any means and that there were acts of
murder even committed by the prophets themselves.Science and religion were both involed with
death of mankind.

 Historians back in the 17th century were trying to find explanations of human behaviour.
They considered that people chose to believe that natural events and causes where powers of the
supernatural and that they would bribe the gods to have sense of control.
This help prove that the background between science and religion have opposing views.
This is saying that religion is only a myth man created. Nothing is true about it.

Religion would decline in the face of technology. The more mankind evolve the less
concerned we are with believing in an actual faith.

A survey among national academy science members show that 72 perecent do not
believe in a religion or faith. A small percentile either have doubt or somewhat believe in a faith.
This would also prove how people who learn more about science begin to be less
concerned with religion and that causes can be explained through tes and theories.
