April Reflection

This month I returned to my efforts to let students waste their own time, but approached it
differently. Instead of focusing on the students that refused to work, I decided to pour my
efforts in students that accept help, with simple check ins and circulation in between helping
students. I found this to be much more effective with students because it really shows students
that I am there to help them in a direct way with those that want it, and indirectly for those
that may be hesitant to accept help, and choose to do nothing instead. Not always, but
sometimes students will observe and decide to get some work done with my help. I’m definitely
not done adjusting my approach towards the subject but it’s nice to see some progress in my
