DAILY PREPARED LESSON PLAN

Grade 10 – Kalaw, Siena, Gregorio, Celerio, Aquino Date: February 5, 2018

I. Targets:
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
1. Distinguish the different functions of the Lasso Tools Respectively
2. Identify the different importance of each parts correctly
3. Demonstrate how to crop, select and fill an image accordingly
4. Show Interest and willingness to learn Adobe Photoshop.
5. Participate actively during class discussion/activities.

II. Concept: CROP TOOL, LASSO TOOL AND PAINT BUCKET TOOL

Materials:

1. Pointer
2. Laptop
3. Photoshop CS6
4. Whiteboard
5. Eraser

Directions: The class is divided into two groups. Girls and Boys. Each will have a
representative in front will pick a word. Members will try to guess what is the word without telling
the additional three words listed below.

CROP TOOL, LASSO TOOLS AND PAINT BUCKET TOOL

CROP TOOL
This changes the number of pixels in an image by "cropping" away the pixels
from the surrounding area.

Three types of Lasso Tools

- FREEFORM LASSO TOOL


The Lasso tool is useful for drawing freeform segments of a selection border.

- POLYGONAL LASSO TOOL


The Polygonal Lasso tool is useful for drawing straight-edged segments of a
selection border.
- MAGNETIC LASSO TOOL
The Magnetic Lasso tool is especially useful for quickly selecting objects with
complex edges set against high-contrast backgrounds.

PAINT BUCKET TOOL


The Paint Bucket tool fills adjacent pixels that are similar in color value to the
pixels you click.
