Students will have a worksheet and they should trace the home parts that in the paper.

Students in this activity will solve the puzzle to know the word and the picture. For example, there will
be (bedroom) Picture and under it the word but it will be like a puzzle. So, they have to solve it to know
the word.

In the end of the lesson, I will give them a small activity to assess their understanding of the lesson. The

Assessment

To assess their knowledge, I’m going to assess them while they’re doing the activities, I will do a checklist to check
their understanding of the lesson.
Reflection

Today I taught English lesson in Al Sharjah International School to my Kg2 D students. And it’s my
first teaching lesson for them. In this lesson, I focused on introducing for student’s home parts, also I
focused on identifying home part such as, living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The lesson
goes well, students were active and involved with me.

I achieved my goal which is preparing differentiation activities for them that is suitable for their
abilities. I prepared for the student’s different activities. I decided to give them the LA activity first
then MA and in the end the HA activity.

While they’re doing the activities, I was moving around them to check if they are doing well or not.
But there is one thing that I will improve and I will not do next time which is, stop them while they do
the activity to move to another activity. What I should do is let them finish it and if the finished I
should give them the next activity immediately because as I said before, they already know how to do
the activities
